Goal Setting and Diabetes (In-Person) In-Person

 

Prevent and manage diabetes the S.M.A.R.T. way. This presentation will provide an overview of important factors related to diabetes, including diet, exercise, medications, and social and emotional influences. Participants learn to prevent or manage diabetes by setting Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely (S.M.A.R.T.) goals. It will be presented by an innovative team of professionals and pre-professionals through the Interprofessional Diabetes Education and Awareness (IDEA) Initiative at Nova Southeastern University.
