Emotional Detective Work: Writing the Personal Essay with Evan James (online event) In-Person
Learn how to draw from your own life experiences and memories to write compelling, multi-faceted, emotionally complex personal essays.
EVAN JAMES is the author of the personal essay collection I’ve Been Wrong Before and the novel Cheer Up, Mr. Widdicombe. His essays have appeared in The New York Times, Oxford American, Travel + Leisure, and many other publications, and he has taught at The University of Iowa, Victoria University of Wellington, The Center for Fiction, and the Berlin Writers' Workshop.
