STEM for Kids: The Chill Zone, presented by the Frost Science Museum (online event) In-Person

Explore physical reactions by freezing everyday objects with liquid nitrogen. Watch as balloons, flowers, and other objects undergo a physical change when exposed to extremely cold temperatures (-321°F to be exact). Make sure to stay for our grand finale as we create a simulated cloud (thunder and all!). This is a limited-space program; pre-registration is required. 

  1. Register* 
  2. Check email for Zoom meeting instructions
  3. On the day of the event, click on the Zoom invite link provided via email** 
  4. If prompted, enter log-in information to attend 

*Anyone under the age of 18 participating in a virtual program via Zoom must have the consent of their parent or caregiver in order to participate. By registering for this program, you agree to the Zoom participation guidelines found at https://nsufl.libguides.com/virtual-programs.

**The Zoom event login information will be sent in a separate email prior to the start of the program.
