You want to start a business, and you’re not sure what you need to know. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of environmental scanning so you can analyze the business environment to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to affect the future of your organization. In the second part of this session, Dr. Tom Tworoger, Professor and Chair of Entrepreneurship and Sport Management Departments from the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU, will share his “tricks of the trade,” on what it took to make his company successful. He took his company to $130 million in sales and then sold it.
