About the Event

View Spanish and Latin American cinema rarely seen in North America.

The Spanish Film Series allows patrons to view films that show the linguistic, cultural and cinematic diversity of Spain and Latin America.

The Spanish Film Series continues with Memories of My Father. Based on the book Oblivion: A Memoir by the Colombian writer Héctor Abad Faciolince, the film tells of the life of the prominent doctor and human rights activist, Héctor Abad Gómez, a father who is concerned about both his children and children from less favored classes. Spanish with English subtitles.
