Hispanic Heritage Month Family Concert: Paco Moreno + Friends - Explore Andean Music with the Band, Wayna! (In-Person) In-Person
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the library! Experience the haunting sounds of the Andes mountains with Paco Moreno and Wayna. Enjoy special appearances by Paco’s studio of youth singers.
Using a wide variety of Andean traditional panpipes, flutes, guitars, and percussion instruments, Wayna recreates traditional and contemporary melodies from the highlands of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Moreno is an instrument maker, musician, storyteller and Spanish teacher from Ecuador. Recommended for ages 4+
